2022 Frugal Things in February

 1.  Dry cat food (a name brand) was $1/pound at Price Rite and only $0.60/pound at Sam's Club.  It pays to shop around and check prices.

2. I made white and rye bread for about fifty cents per loaf.  Even the bread store is more.

3.  I mixed up some refrigerator potato dough for dinner rolls and breakfast sweet rolls. It is good for a week or so in the refrigerator.

4.  Mike loves croutons in his salad.  I make them from homemade bread.  Inexpensive, easy and delicious.

5.  I can make bagels but they are a lot of work and mine are ugly!  So, I bought them at the bread store.  Retail cost would have been $14.97.   My cost, $3.29.  An easy savings of $11.66.

6. On Twosday, 2/22/22, we got a 22% discount on tickets to the Erie Playhouse.

7.  We went to DC to visit the kids and paid for our hotel room with points.

8.  We paid the RV insurance in full and saved $100.
