20233 Frugal Things in August

 1.  I took advantage of a 50% off senior sale to buy yarn at Thrifty Shopper and saved $33.82.

2.  I bought Hallmark birthday cards at Dollar Tree and saved $14 from the price printed on the cards.

3.  I was gifted 36 skeins of yarn, including some perfect for pet blankets.  Again, A bundle of money saved.

4. I used an inexpensive cake mix to make 24 biscotti for about $1.  To purchase them would be at least $24.  Significant savings.

5.  Using my birthday gift certificate from the yacht club, we saved $15 on a celebratory lunch out.

6.  We salvage shopped on Senior Day and saved $9.24.

7.  Our hotel room in Boston was paid for using, you guessed it, points.
