We Have a Whirligig !

Better known as a clothes airer, a rotary airer or an umbrella airer.

 

 

Aunt Evelyn used to call hers the washing line.

 

Ours has three arms just like the picture and can hold a lot of laundry at one time.

 

Mike has adapted it so that he can put it up in the cockpit and then easily take it down once the clothes are dry. 

 

It is sooo nice to be able to have them dry outside in the sun and breeze.  And, it is amazingly fast in comparison to hanging them all over the inside of the boat. :-)

 

Careful Mike, I am getting spoiled.
